[CASE STUDY] Sainato's at Rivergate Rebrand
Sainato’s at Rivergate is a family-run italian restaurant and sports bar nestled on the bank of the Cuyahoga River in the emerging Rivergate District of Cleveland, OH.

Originally founded in 1972 as simply Sainato’s Restaurant , it was recently purchased by another family member who desired a rebrand with the name Sainato’s at Rivergate.
Another family member seasoned by the catering industry was also brought in to manage the new operation. Unfortunately, Sainato’s website had been pirated and the login and passwords to social media had been lost in the shuffle.
With so much facing an already overloaded staff, they looked to ZOOM! Branding Group.
ZOOM! designed a simple three-month tactical approach to not only implement a new look and feel, but to also build practical tools and processes that could eventually be passed off and easily maintained by staff.
“I literally had so many balls in the air, I knew that marketing would fall on the back burner,” said Roseann Vandevender, general manager of Sainato’s at Rivergate. “So this was the perfect solution to get us up and profitable, quickly!”
After just one two-hour exploration meeting, ZOOM! worked with Sainato’s existing design partner to create a new look and style guide, as well as capture the rich family history behind Sainato’s.
ZOOM! Then worked to recapture, launch and refresh their social media presence on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, as well as claim and build out a dynamic presence on both Google Business and YELP!
“They even consulted with us on how to best handle good and some not-so-good reviews,” added Vandevender.
A simple website was then launched for easy management of content and SEO.
“Literally, everything from digital marketing to printing to branded apparel, ZOOM! was (and still is) our one-stop-shop for everything we need to make our business stand out,” said Vandevender.
ZOOM! also designed the menu using iMenu for easy maintenance, and then handled print production and delivery. It was also critical to ensure they had a simple design tool to create ongoing collateral, so they were set up on Canva.com.
“The best part about ZOOM! Is that they really care about our success! They work quickly and could always find an affordable solution for anything we needed,” said Vandevender. “And they trained us every step of the way so we could actually take everything in house."
